Wavy Zig Zag Stitch Blanket

 

This is an easy pattern to do

Chain a multiple of 16 stitches plus 2 more stitches

Stitches used are:

• Chain
•  double crochet (dc)
•  stitch decrease(sdcs)

Instructions

Row 1

Double crochet in 3rd chain from the hook

double crochet in next 6 chain

3 double crochet in next chain 

double crochet in next 6 chain

*work 3 stitch decrease over next 3 chain

 wool over hook, insert hook through next stitch, wool over hook and pull loop through (3 stitches on hook) wool over hook and pull though first 2 loops on hook(2 stitches on hook) repeat from * twice wool over and pull through remaining 4 loops on hook

double crochet in next 6 chain 

3 double crochet in next chain

double crochet in next 6 chain 

repeat from * end by working 2 stitch decrease in last 2 chain

chain 2 and turn

Row 2 

skip 1st stitch

double crochet in next 7 double crochet

3 double crochet in next single double crochet

double crochet in next 6 double crochet 

*work 3 stitch decrease over next 3 stitches

double crochet in next 6 chain 

3 double crochet in next chain

double crochet in next 6 chain 

repeat from * end by working 2 stitch decrease in last 2 chain

chain 2 and turn

repeat row 2 till desired length, changing colours when you like
